Shaftless unwinder

Easy handling and quick roll change

Contrary to the traditional center-driven unwinder, the shaftless unwinder makes the troublesome handling of expansion shafts superfluous. If the shaftless unwinder is further combined with lifting arms, easy handling can be ensured, even without overhead cranes. The operator can simply place the roll on a pallet, place the pallet in between the two arms, and the arms can move inwards with the chucks fitting into the tube. When they are in place, the arms can lift the roll from the pallet into the working position.

The shaftless unwinder is best suited for unwinding of hard rolls with modest acceleration / deceleration.
